What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, Manager Development Program module, verbal and written communication skills, well organized with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage time efficiently, Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems

Nice to Have

Certified Parts Professional, ASE certification, Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

What You'll Do.

Maximize sales by directing team members

Provide customers with prompt

and professional service

sell company products

Represent the company in accordance with company policies

Maintain customer base

Increase sales volume at assigned accounts

Review customer needs to gain market share

Solicit stocking-type business

Communicate with and coordinate sales call efforts

Supervise work performed by all store team members

and discharge team members

Utilize Scheduling & Timekeeping recommendations

Develop and post work schedules

Review team member timecards for accuracy

Correct all missed punches daily

Ensure all store team members continually improve their skills

Work with Sales and Pricing Departments in establishing pricing levels

Maximize gross profit on outside purchases

Monitor non-competitive price overrides and price matches

Ensure store is organized and operating according to policies

Communicate new information received from the company

Implement all planogram changes and merchandising plans

Provide Inventory Control Department with accurate stock adjustment recaps

Handle all daily store accounting functions

Monitor all charge accounts

Take care of past due situations

Communicate regularly with credit department on status of problem accounts

Monitor all susceptible areas

Implement loss prevention procedures

Ensure store vehicles are clean and well-maintained

Complete daily/monthly inspections properly

Report property/building needs

Attend the Annual Managers' Conference

Perform all other duties as assigned

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Coordinate sales call efforts with the Territory Sales Manager; Work jointly with the District Manager in recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging team members; Work with the Sales and Pricing Departments (with assistance of district manager) in establishing pricing levels for professional customers; Communicate with Territory Sales Manager and credit department on status of problem accounts
