What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proven experience in stock control or inventory management within a retail distribution centre, knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) BlueYonder, Experience managing audits, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
Experience in high-volume, retail distribution, Knowledge of inbound logistics and supplier compliance processes, Advanced Excel or data analysis skills, Lean / continuous improvement experience (e. g. , Six Sigma)
What You'll Do.
Maintain stock accuracy between physical inventory and systems
Oversee stock movements
Review and authorise stock adjustments
Monitor KPIs related to stock accuracy
Lead cycle count programs
Investigate discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
Implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with internal controls
Manage and resolve inbound delivery discrepancies
Ensure discrepancies are logged
Maintain accurate system updates
Partner with warehouse operations
and dispatch processes
Identify process gaps
Own and maintain WMS inventory data integrity
Act as key point of contact for system issues
Develop and deliver reporting on stock
Support system implementations
Lead and develop stock controllers
Set clear performance objectives
Deliver training on systems
Promote a culture of accuracy
