Additional responsibilities include engineering support of process improvement, waste reduction and overall line efficiency improvement. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Participates in the design, fabrication, and installation of modifications to sterilization machinery and equipment to improve quality and costs. * Coordinates and supports vendor design, acceptance criteria, installation, and debugging of new sterilization equipment and machinery. * Investigates, specifies and provides economic justification of new sterilization machinery, equipment and process. * Troubleshoot and solve technical problems pertaining to sterilization machinery, equipment, and process. * Supplies and maintains drawing files for all sterilization machinery and equipment. * Provides written or on-site technical assistance to the other plants. * Coordinates manufacture and supply of sterilization machinery or equipment to other plants. * Coordinates engineering activity with Maintenance and Machine Shop Supervision. * Closely coordinates engineering activities on Division R&D projects as directed. * Prepares standards for Preventative Maintenance, Modifications, ECOs, and issues proper documentation for manufacturing. * Generates CB2s and provide technical information needed to maintain capital expenses budget. * Provides assistance in all phases of Budget and Standards p
