_**Sterile Services Process Technician -Decontamination(Permanent Nights)**_ _**Stoke Hospital Sterile Services Unit (ST5-7UF) | Permanent | Full Time******_ _**Up to £ 25,800.00 per annum ** **37.5 hours a week Nights + 30 % enhancement ** ****Monday to Friday 20:00pm - 04:00am****_ If you’re enthusiastic, motivated and you’ve previously worked in a sterile services environment, this is an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity. As a Sterile Services**Process Technician** at our Stoke HSSU, You will learn how to dismantle, prepare, and sterilise re-usable medical Instruments ready for our patients in our Nuffield Hospitals. You will need to be organised with good communication skills – and ideally, you’re able to show evidence of sterile services training however this is not essential, full training will be provided. **As a Decontamination Process Technician, you will:** * Dismantle and prepare and sterilise Medical Instruments ready for Theatre Surgery * Inspect and maintain instruments to a high standard * Help to ensure all equipment is in good working order * Regularly check medical equipment for damage and report any faults * Work with a strong friendly team * Take on training as required * Be computer literate * Maintain a clean and tidy work environment * Take action to resolve any problems * Escalate issues where necessary * Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with our policies and procedures * Handle manual handling duties up to @13kg. * Have strong attention to detail and an overarching desire to deliver a high quality service. **Helping you feel good.** We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued.
