Decontaminates instruments
Assembles instruments
Sterilizes instruments
Distributes instruments
Operates various sterilizers
Maintains assigned work areas
Verifies sterilization cycle parameters
Completes documentation records
Identifies instrument procedure trays
Assembles instrument procedure trays
Marks items with identifying data
Notifies manager of deficiencies
Dispenses requested products
Assigns priority to emergency requests
Issues required supplies
Issues required equipment
Disassembles instruments
Disassembles equipment
Reassembles instruments
Reassembles equipment
Replaces damaged parts
Cleans selected equipment
Operates selected equipment
Maintains documentation
Performs charge duties
Assists in orientation
Reports abnormal information
Reports critical information
Assists in training OR nurses
Assists in training staff

Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with other members of the surgical team; Reports abnormal and critical information to the team Lead or manager; Assists in the training of OR nurses and related staff; serving as a resource for other hospital departments
