Minimum one-year experience in instrument processing in an acute care setting, Proficient knowledge of medical terminology to understand instrumentation, surgical procedures, and surgical schedule, Must be proficient in the Association of Advanced Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) Standards of Practice, Current valid Driver License
What You'll Do.
Preparation and assembly
Sterilization processing
Storage and distribution
Develop and maintain current knowledge of SPD procedures
Utilize Manufactures Instructions for Use (IFU)
Act as a mentor to developmental level Sterile Processing Technicians
Serve as a proctor for sterile processing students
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work as team member with other Sterile Processing Technicians
