What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience in insurance product filings, Familiarity with product filing systems including SERFF, IRFS, Experience managing multiple product filings and competing priorities, Experience monitoring filing status on a regular basis, Experience providing timely notification of objections and approvals, Experience ensuring responses to objections adequately address regulatory concerns, Experience with effective communication with Departments of Insurance and internal business representatives
Nice to Have
Experience in property and casualty, Experience in Accident & Health, Experience in Warranty, Experience in Personal Lines
What You'll Do.
Prepare and submit form
rate and or rule filings
Compile and submit new and revised policy forms
Prepare supporting filing documentation
Review filings for compliance
Monitor calendar of regulatory filings
Research state statutes
Communicate with state insurance departments
Respond to objections
Maintain filed and non-filed forms and rates
Assist with special projects

Collaborate closely with product development, actuarial, underwriting, legal, and external vendors; Communicate with internal stakeholders such as underwriting, actuarial and legal

Effective communication with Departments of Insurance; Effective communication with internal business representatives

Manage multiple product filings and competing priorities, Effectively manage multiple filings simultaneously
