Perform Mechanical and HVAC (refrigerant) equipment startups

Oversee and/or perform refrigeration installations and evacuations in compliance with industry standards

Troubleshoot Mechanical and HVAC equipment/system issues to ensure proper operation

Repair and/or replace Mechanical and HVAC equipment

Physically resolve warranty claims

Use the provided tools

and vehicle to efficiently complete tasks safely

Maintain accurate and concise documentation of work performed and submitted in a timely manner

Complete and submit timesheets and expense reports

Provide onsite support to project teams and clients

Comprehend and comply with equipment Installation

and Maintenance (IOM) manuals

Review and comprehend equipment Submittals

Perform Pre-startup activities for EAS and/or 3rd party vendor equipment Startups

Understand and follow EAS Mechanical QA/QC standards

Understand and inspect electrical installations per the National Electrical Code (NEC)

Install and inspect all aspects of Control systems

Read and comprehend Mechanical

Electrical and Control installation drawings as well as flow diagrams (P&IDs)

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on Mechanical and HVAC equipment

and/or replace fan belts on motors

Full Job Description

**POS ITION DESCRIPTION:** This position requires a strong knowledge and hands-on experience with starting up, troubleshooting and servicing Mechanical and HVAC equipment/systems. The position will be expected to travel on a regular basis meeting (scheduled and non-scheduled) startup and service requirements including EAS Construction installed and Manufacturing set projects as well as warranty claims. This position may require extended time and overnight stay out of state.
