Must Have
U. S. DOE Q-level security clearance, U. S. Citizenship, High school diploma or equivalent, Completion of apprenticeship program, Basic journey level electrician skills, Proficiency in tools of the trade, Maintain, inspect, operate, install, repair, replace, test, troubleshoot, and commission stand-by power system, Perform annual preventative maintenance on transfer switches, Knowledge of NFPA 70E, Knowledge of NFPA 110, Knowledge of applicable Safety policies, Demonstrated verbal communication skills, Demonstrated written communication skills, Basic knowledge of personal computers, Valid California driver’s license, Ability to work scheduled overtime, Ability to work on-call overtime, Ability to work emergency overtime
Nice to Have
Experience with maintenance and reliability standards, Experience with root cause analysis, Experience with reliability centered maintenance, Experience with continuous improvement, Experience with NFPA 70B, Experience with ANSI/NETA testing specifications, Knowledge of common electrical devices

Test malfunctioning systems
Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems
Repair malfunctioning systems
Follow safety procedures
Follow safety policies
Use personal protective equipment
Participate in work planning
Participate in control process
Document preventive maintenance tasks
Communicate preventive maintenance results
Prepare reports for projects
Prepare reports for work orders

Provide customer service
Complete preventative maintenance requests
