## Description We are seeking a Staff Vehicle Safety Integration Engineer to architect next-generation occupant protection systems for our electric and autonomous fleet. Define high-level safety requirements and decompose them into actionable engineering metrics, recipes, and module-level targets. Manage complex trade-offs between safety and other vehicle attributes while driving collaboration across structures, restraints, and sub-attribute teams. Oversee virtual and physical test programs (DVP), manage instrumentation strategies, and monitor technical issue resolution via Jira throughout the vehicle lifecycle. Partner with CAE teams to ensure simulation-to-test correlation and provide technical direction to leadership during key project gateways based on data analysis. ## Qualifications BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field 10+ years of experience within automotive development and testing, preferably safety testing Detailed knowledge of FMVSS, EC
