What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with 12 years of or Master's degree with 10 years of or PhD with 8 years of experience, US Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years., Ability to obtain Special Access Programs (SAP) clearance., 10+ years Experience with Agile and working in a cross-functional Scrum teams., 10+ years Experience with Product Owner and Product Manager core responsibilities, 4+ years experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) OR complex aerospace/defense systems, 2+ years experience on large scale / complex system development experience across multiple phases of a development program: preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production., Experience with Systems Engineering program milestone events (e. g. , PDR, CDR), Customer-focused mindset with proven leadership skills and excellent communication skills, Experience working with external customers to meet program expectations in a timely and efficient manner., Experience supporting DoD contracts and/or large supplier management portfolio experience in other industries
Nice to Have
understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc. ) for the development of complex systems-of-systems., oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities., Experience executing and boarding Risks, Issues & Opportunities, Teamcenter/CPLM experience, Continuous Process Improvement experience, Experience with Agile, Experience in creating, updating, and maintaining Model-Based Systems Engineering products, Experience collaborating with multiple functional groups, subcontracts, and government customer representatives, Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
What You'll Do.
assess external interfaces and mission scenario operational threads across the Weapon System (WS)
serve as system integrators to facilitate systems of systems interoperability and joint systems integration
understand the intent of WS integration at the highest levels
drive engineering processes & analyses to prove successful design integration and analyze for potential gaps
drive process and technical gap resolution of interface and requirement design solutions to achieve program and contract objectives
Lead Integration activities in support of systems-of-systems integration
development of key system engineering artifacts such as requirement specifications and interface definition documents
Ensure appropriate coordination between SEIT and other integration teams
Participate in technical planning
verification and validation development
cost and risk considerations
and requirements analyses for integrated systems
Identify risks and opportunities associated with or driven by design
Provide guidance and mentoring to teams during project execution
Work independently with minimum supervision
