Mission of the role You will be part of the team responsible for operating one of the largest and most complex hosting platforms in Europe. Your mission will be to ensure the stability, performance, and evolution of the Stretch platform, working directly on critical production systems and contributing to the continuous improvement of a highly distributed infrastructure. This is a strongly technical role with hands-on impact at scale, where your work will directly influence service quality and platform evolution. You will collaborate closely with Hosting Technology teams and other web hosting teams within IONOS, with frequent interaction with international colleagues—particularly in Germany—to consolidate knowledge of existing systems. Responsibilities Operation, maintenance, and evolution of large-scale Linux infrastructure. Advanced (Level 3) support for complex platform incidents. Automation of processes using scripting (BASH, Python) and infrastructure tools. Operation and management of distributed storage systems (Ceph).
