TL;DR You'll design and build high-performance backend services in Rust for a fintech platform serving 800,000+ users. You'll join a team of 10 Rust engineers across multiple squads, with flexibility to work on investment products, crypto, or life insurance infrastructure. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design and build scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems using Rust and distributed systems best practices. - Drive technical direction across teams by shaping architecture decisions, defining engineering standards, and aligning technology with business goals. - Lead complex technical initiatives end-to-end, from system design and implementation to rollout and long-term maintainability. - Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to deliver pragmatic solutions that balance scalability, quality, and execution speed. - Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture through knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
