As a Staff Software Engineer in the Core Manufacturing Software Engineering Chapter, you’ll work at the very centre of the Home Lending ecosystem, building the core services every loan application depends on. This team owns the platforms that define key terms and conditions, assess credit risk, and determine the right product for each customer, with capabilities embedded into every home loan offering. You’ll be a hands‑on, full‑stack, full‑cycle engineer across .NET and React/Node.js/Next.js, leading architecture and complex system design that scales across millions of customer journeys. These systems are used at every stage of the Home Lending lifecycle, making the work both technically deep and business‑critical. The impact of this role extends well beyond a single team. You’ll lead across multiple core trios, drive technical strategy and standards, and take end‑to‑end ownership in a DevSecOps model by building, running and continuously improving the products your squad owns. As a software engineering subject matter expert, you’ll mentor engineers, guide high‑stakes technical decisions, and help drive major technology, AI and process transformation initiatives.
