Must Have
Significant experience building and scaling frontend systems using JavaScript and React and/or React Native, A track record of owning complex UI systems or frontend platforms, not just individual features, Deep care for user experience, performance, and long-term maintainability, Ability to operate in ambiguity - defining problems, proposing solutions, and aligning stakeholders, Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence technical direction across teams, Experience mentoring engineers and raising team-wide frontend quality (people management not required)
Nice to Have
Experience designing or maintaining shared component libraries or design systems, Exposure to mobile performance, accessibility, or internationalization challenges, Experience working on products with real-world impact and high user trust
