Must Have
7–10 years of development experience in Java microservices, Deep expertise in Java, experience in Spring / Spring Boot, Proven ability to build and operate distributed, cloud-native microservices at scale, experience with GCP services (GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, CockroachDB, Redis), Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or similar), Practical knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and caching strategies, Solid understanding of system design, data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization, Understanding of product architecture, Comfortable leveraging agentic coding tools and AI-assisted development environments to enhance productivity and code quality
Nice to Have
Experience in latency-sensitive, high-throughput systems, Familiarity with Looker, analytics pipelines, and large-scale reporting systems, Familiarity with Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, and end-to-end testing practices, Exposure to frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript
