What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8+ years of hands-on experience in software development, proven skills in building large-scale, distributed systems, Experience operating as a technical lead or Staff-level engineer, demonstrated influence beyond your immediate team, Expertise in an OOP-based language such as Java or Kotlin, demonstrable knowledge of API design, integration, and best practices, Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems, Proven experience with unit testing, integration testing, deploying services in Kubernetes or a similar container orchestration platform, Demonstrated ability to design, build, and operate fault-tolerant systems, experience in requirements gathering, risk identification, project breakdown, and sequencing for efficient development, communication skills to present and articulate designs to technical and non-technical audiences, experience leading architecture reviews and influencing technical direction, Understanding of offensive security methods and tactics, Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, routing protocols
