Must Have
8+ years in full stack software development, at least 2 years in a staff-level or comparable technical leadership position, Mastery of modern web and back-end technologies, Mastery of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), Mastery of distributed systems architecture, Mastery of CI/CD practices, Proven ability to design scalable systems across team boundaries, large data volumes, and organizational complexity, Demonstrated track record of mentoring engineers, Demonstrated track record of aligning teams on technical decisions, Demonstrated track record of contributing to a positive engineering culture, Excellent communicator, able to explain complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical team members

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Staff Software Engineer at Avra, you will act as a technical cornerstone for our engineering team—setting high standards for architecture, mentorship, and execution. Collaborating closely with founders and cross-functional leadership, you’ll lead the design of our scalable end-to-end platform, influencing the technical direction of our proprietary AI and data pipelines. Cloud Infrastructure at Scale: Design and manage complex components in our multi-cloud environment (AWS and GCP), prioritizing reliability, observability, and cost effectiveness.
