What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Staff-level software engineering background, expertise in Python, at least one of Java, TypeScript or. NET, proven track record delivering production-grade systems, Experience designing, building and operating distributed systems on AWS (or similar cloud platforms), secure development, data protection, compliance, enterprise architecture principles, Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production, use of APIs (e. g. OpenAI, Bedrock), prompt orchestration, tool usage, interaction patterns, Expertise in AI system design, state management, memory strategies, evaluation approaches, guardrails, observability, performance optimisation for LLM-powered systems, communication and influencing skills, experience mentoring engineers, driving high standards across teams, engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
