Must Have

6+ years of experience in software development or test engineering, emphasis on infrastructure, scale testing, or platform engineering, coding skills in Python and/or Golang, Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, networking, gateway architectures, VPCs, CSP account structures (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI), Hands-on experience designing and managing test environments at scale, using cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-code, Proficiency with Terraform, Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Proven ability to work independently, drive projects from design through delivery with minimal supervision, Proficient in leveraging AI-powered tools

Nice to Have

ABOUT THE ROLE: We are searching for a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join the Aviatrix Engineering Productivity (EngProd) Integration Playground team. In this role, you will own the design, build-out, and ongoing evolution of the Platform and Hybrid Scale Integration Playground — a critical environment that enables early-stage validation, scale testing, and infrastructure experimentation across the engineering organization. This is a high-impact, infrastructure-forward role at the intersection of platform engineering and test infrastructure. You will drive the development of scale testing capabilities that don't yet exist and establish shared playground infrastructure that the broader engineering organization depends on. You will work closely with scale automation leads and domain experts across Networking, Platform, and the Engineering Release serve as a technical resource and set standards for test design, infrastructure quality, and best practices Lead test design and planning for platform and hybrid scale features, managing timelines and driving execution to completion Participate in code reviews, on-call rotations, and interview processes REQUIREMENTS 6+ years of experience in software development or test engineering, with strong emphasis on infrastructure, scale testing, or platform engineering Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field Strong coding skills in Python and/or Golang Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure concept
