Must Have
Hands-on experience in Data Engineering and Software Engineering, especially with high-volume, business-critical pipelines., Experience in maintaining and building modern data platforms and acting as a multiplier for other engineering teams., Deep, practical experience with Dagster, dbt, Google BigQuery (GBQ), and AWS (ECS)., Strong software engineering fundamentals (CI/CD, Testing, Best Practices, Design Patterns) applied to Data Engineering., Expert-level SQL and Python skills., Knowledge of infrastructure setups (Docker, Terraform/CloudFormation)., Sharp, quick mind and knowledge of Data Engineering best practices., High energy, clarity, and a 'Team-First' mentality., Ability to grasp complex processes easily and communicate clearly with various stakeholders., Fluent English.
Nice to Have
Experience with MySQL (AWS).
What You'll Do.
Build and maintain new data platform (Dagster
Drive the transition to the new data platform.
Develop a product that serves as a foundation for other data teams.
Increase efficiency of other data teams through tailored tools
Maintain and optimize the largest and most important company pipelines.
Move terabytes of data from MySQL (AWS) to GBQ nightly.
Perform daily synchronizations without impacting source system performance.
Take responsibility for the most critical company reports.
Provide foundational data for executive board decisions and other data teams.
