**Job Description** **Harborview Medical Center’s Psychiatry Department** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Staff Scheduling Coordinator.** **WORK SCHEDULE** * 40 hours per week * Day Shift **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** * Showcase your detail-oriented skills and problem-solving abilities. * Influence a team and create efficiencies **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** * Schedule RN’s, Patient Service Specialists, and Patient Care Techs in scheduling software (UKG Pro.) * Record keeping including tracking minimum shift requirements for intermittent staff members, and tracking timecard exceptions * Process shifts requests * Answer questions from staff members re: staffing/scheduling questions * Schedule staff members for last-minute shifts * Practice fiscal responsibility be minimizing the use of overtime and maintaining productivity within target range **REQUIREMENTS** High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of administrative experience. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration. **DESIRED** Excellent written and oral communication skills; this role will interact with staff members and communicate regularly with the hospital staffing office The ability to prioritize and organize tasks Computer literacy including UKG Pro.
