Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Product Engineer (Staff level) to lead the development, qualification, release, and sustaining of advanced semiconductor power products. This role is responsible for driving product engineering execution across the full lifecycle, from silicon bring-up through high-volume production, with a strong focus on product quality, yield optimization, reliability, and customer success. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in power semiconductor technologies (e.g., PMICs, smart power stages, and multi-phase regulator solutions) and demonstrate strong ownership of complex technical challenges while influencing cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities * Own product engineering activities across the full lifecycle, including silicon bring-up, characterization, qualification, production release, and sustaining * Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex product, test, and manufacturing issues * Drive improvements in yield, test efficiency, product performance, and cost of quality * Define and execute characterization and qualification strategies to ensure robust product release * Partner with design and test engineering teams to optimize DFT, test coverage, and correlation (bench vs ATE vs system) * Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve customer issues and field escalations * Analyze yield, parametric, and reliability data to identify trends and drive corrective actions * Influence product, test, and manufacturing decisions through strong technical judgment and data-driven insights * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to development of best practices ## Qualifications * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline * 8+ years of experience
