Must Have
Extensive experience designing and operating large-scale backend platforms and distributed systems. Deep expertise building, scaling, and modernizing production Django applications. Expert-level experience architecting and operating cloud environments within AWS. Proven ability to design resilient, secure, and scalable systems that support significant business growth. Advanced knowledge of Postgres architecture, performance optimization, and data modeling. Experience building observability, monitoring, incident management, and reliability practices. Demonstrated success driving engineering decisions and influencing technical direction across teams. Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts and develop other engineers.

This role will drive platform strategy, improve system reliability and developer productivity, and partner across engineering teams to build secure, scalable solutions that support the company's long-term growth. You bring deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and backend architecture, while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
