Full Job Description
Job Overview: The Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and operating secure, reliable, and scalable internal data and cloud platforms, enabling self-service capabilities and accelerating delivery for data, analytics, and engineering teams across the organization. Essential Functions: * Design, implement, and operate internal platform services (e.g., cloud infrastructure, data platforms, CI/CD, automation). * Own and evolve platform components with a product mindset, focusing on reliability, security, scalability, and usability. * Collaborate with software, data, and DevOps teams to enable self-service provisioning and standardized platform usage. * Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code and scripting. * Support platform adoption, troubleshooting, and operational stability, including incident and problem resolution. * Contribute to platform architecture, technical standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: * Strong experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles. * Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code tools. * Solid understanding of Linux-based systems, networking, and security fundamentals. * Experience supporting data or analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) is a strong advantage. * Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
