physical design implementation for complex digital SoCs, industry-standard PNR and signoff tools, closing challenging blocks/subsystems on advanced nodes, Floorplanning and partitioning strategies, Power grid and PDN methodology, Advanced clock tree/clock mesh design and constraints, STA constraints, Physical verification and reliability checks
What You'll Do.
Own end-to-end physical implementation
Define and refine hierarchical PNR strategies
Perform in-depth analysis and debug
and enhance physical design methodologies
Proactively identify opportunities for flow improvements
Evaluate EDA tool features
Provide technical direction to a small group
Mentor junior engineers
and implementation choices
Act as a go-to technical reference
Work closely with RTL design
Participate in design reviews and signoff reviews
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with RTL design, STA, DFT, CAD, and packaging teams; Collaborate with CAD/enablement teams; Communicate risks, options, and trade-offs clearly to project leads and managers; Participate in design reviews and signoff reviews, representing physical design status, risks, and recommendations

Clear, concise communication skills; able to explain complex technical issues and options to different audiences
