What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associates of Science in nursing (ASN) required. Current California RN license. Current BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards required. Twelve (12) or more months of service as a registered nurse in an acute care setting.
Nice to Have
BSN preferred.
What You'll Do.
The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individualized patient care in a telemetry unit, collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team.
This role involves developing and coordinating care plans, managing discharge planning, and providing patient/family education while ensuring age-appropriate care and compliance with policies.
The nurse also participates in performance improvement activities, acts as a preceptor or charge nurse, and contributes to cost-effective patient care.
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborates with physicians, patient/families and members of the health care team in delivering a plan of care. Utilizes positive communication skills to effect conflict resolution and team work.
