Must Have

Extensive professional experience in the physical deployment, integration, and startup of PLC, SCADA, BMS, and EPMS platforms, Proven ability to successfully execute, deploy, and startup automation systems in data center or other high-availability environments, Deep hands-on familiarity with configuring and troubleshooting control protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, OPC-UA, and MQTT, integrating diverse field devices into unified platforms, Practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, PLC/DDC logic, and industrial automation equipment operations, Demonstrated ability to translate engineering designs into physical installations, driving deployment timelines, and navigating a fast paced construction environment, A track record of solving complex automation challenges, quickly diagnosing integration issues, and ensuring systems operate exactly as designed, A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline

Nice to Have

A Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical field, Relevant professional certifications in specific PLC or SCADA platforms, Ignition and Rockwell preferred, Experience ensuring controls implementations comply with industrial cybersecurity best practices, A passion for leveraging automation to meet company-wide energy efficiency and sustainability goals

ABOUT THIS ROLE:   As Staff Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, Deployment - you will be a deployment and execution lead for the "nervous system" of Crusoe’s hyperscale data centers. You will spearhead the installation and integration of the sophisticated BMS/EPMS and SCADA solutions that allow us to monitor and control our high-performance computing environments with surgical precision.
