JOB DESCRIPTION We’re seeking a driven Staff Fullstack Engineer to join one of the fastest-growing legal tech companies in Europe as we scale the engineering foundation across our AI product suite. This role focuses on owning and driving complex systems across our products, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability as we continue to grow. Working closely with Engineering leadership, you’ll operate as a senior technical leader without direct reports, taking ownership of key technical initiatives and driving execution across teams. For an engineer with strong ownership mindset and technical leadership, this is an opportunity to take the lead on critical systems, improve architecture, and deliver high-impact results quickly. YOUR CHALLENGE AND OPPORTUNITY IN THIS ROLE As a Staff Fullstack Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping up the tech and best practices of our JUPUS Application used by law firms across Europe. You’ll take ownership of complex technical topics, drive implementation, and ensure systems are built for performance, scalability, and reliability. Expect high responsibility, fast execution, and visible impact across the product suite. TASKS - Own and drive complex features and systems across our Application - Lead implementation of high-impact technical initiatives end-to-end - Be on the forefront of technical guidelines and code quality - Improve system architecture, performance, and scalability - Work closely with AI Engineers to bring AI systems into reliable production environments - Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and frontend applications - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across application and database layers - Maintain strong testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing - Collaborate across teams to drive technical decisions and execution - Implement and evangelize internally best practices, new technologies and techniques - REQUIREMENTS TECHNICAL EXPERTISE - Strong experience building
