What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8+ years of software engineering experience, significant experience building and shipping production-grade full-stack applications, frontend experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React and Next. js, backend experience designing APIs and services using modern server-side technologies such as Node. js, TypeScript, Python, or similar, Experience building integrations with third-party platforms, SaaS products, or commerce ecosystems, architectural judgment and the ability to balance speed, scalability, and maintainability, Experience working across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and prototyping to launch and iteration, Comfort operating in small, entrepreneurial teams where context may be incomplete and priorities evolve quickly, collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders, A product mindset and a bias toward solving real customer and partner problems
Nice to Have
Experience building for commerce ecosystems such as Shopify, Experience with embedded apps, OAuth flows, app marketplaces, and partner-facing integrations, Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, event-driven systems, and integration middleware, Experience in media, DAM, e-commerce, or martech-related products, Experience acting as a technical lead without direct people management responsibility
