What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline, Minimum of six years working within electricity distribution systems including network operations and system integration, Experience working directly with distribution system operators on digitalisation or network modernisation projects, Field experience of primary and secondary substations in distribution networks, Experience of technical tender responses and customer solution development within a utility context, Proven ability to produce clear structured technical documentation and communicate complex technical concepts to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers internal teams and senior leadership, Willingness to travel as required to support customer engagements site deployments and technical workshops, organisational and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally, Full driving licence
Nice to Have
Experience working directly with distribution system operators on digitalisation or network modernisation projects, Familiarity with relevant IEC and EN standards relating to monitoring protection and data communications within electricity networks, Experience with cloud based architectures IoT platforms or advanced analytics solutions applied to energy systems, Experience of electronics, firmware and coding, Demonstrated experience applying novel technologies, analytics platforms and topology aware tools to improve network monitoring and fault diagnosis, Chartered Engineer status or working towards professional accreditation
