Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using PHP and Laravel Architect and implement robust, high-performance APIs and microservices to support complex business requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers within the team Drive engineering best practices including code quality, testing, performance optimization, and clean architecture Identify system bottlenecks and implement improvements for scalability, reliability, and efficiency Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategy Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high system availability Requirements: Strong experience (7+ years preferred) in backend development with PHP and Laravel framework Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture principles Hands-on experience building scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), performance tuning, and data modeling Experience with cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices is a plus Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives within teams Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex, fast-paced environments Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and high-quality code Benefits: Opportunity to work on large-scale global digital products and engineering challenges Fully remote-friendly and flexible work environment Collaborative, non-hierarchical engineering culture focused on innovation and growth Strong learning and upskilling opportunities across modern technologies Exposure to global teams across multiple countries and domains High ownership role with influence on architecture and engineering direction Inclu
