Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Design, develop, and configure SCADA solutions using Siemens WinCC OA for industrial automation systems, ensuring scalable and reliable performance across deployments. Integrate SCADA platforms with PLCs, sensors, and industrial communication networks using protocols such as OPC, Modbus, and Profinet. Execute full lifecycle testing activities including FAT, SAT, commissioning, validation, and troubleshooting of automation systems. Develop and maintain WinCC OA scripts and automation logic using Python or similar scripting languages to enhance system functionality. Diagnose and resolve issues across PLC, SCADA, and industrial communication layers to ensure system stability and uptime. Prepare detailed technical documentation covering design specifications, testing procedures, implementation, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and seamless system integration. Ensure adherence to industrial engineering standards, OT architecture guidelines, and cybersecurity best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline. 5.5+ years of experience in industrial automation, SCADA systems, and control system engineering. Strong hands-on expertise in Siemens WinCC OA and SCADA system configuration and development. Practical experience with PLC programming and system integration, preferably using Siemens TIA Portal. Good understanding of industrial communication protocols including OPC, Modbus, and Profinet. Experience in scripting or programming using Python or similar languages for automation tasks. Strong exposure to industrial networking, OT environments, and cybersecurity principles. Hands-on experience in FAT, SAT, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and system validation activities.
