Role Overview: Finance Platform Engineering (FPE) at Coupang builds a centralized, scalable finance technology platform powering mission‑critical financial systems across the company. The team owns the end‑to‑end finance engineering charter, designing and operating highly reliable platforms that process tens of millions of events per business per day. A Staff Engineer owns a broad charter, leading architecture and execution for partner settlement, payout, and core finance platforms at Coupang scale. In the near term, you will drive delivery of a new end‑to‑end partner settlement and payout platform, while evolving the core finance platform.
