What They're Looking For.
Must Have
15+ years of software engineering experience, demonstrated success operating at Staff or Principal Engineer level, Deep backend engineering expertise with JVM technologies (Java, Kotlin, Scala) and/or Go, distributed systems and system design fundamentals, including microservices, scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance patterns, hands-on experience building and operating large-scale streaming architectures using Kafka and technologies such as Flink or Spark, Proven track record leading complex cross-team technical initiatives from architecture through execution, Experience integrating or operating AI agentic workflows and LLM-powered systems within engineering or production environments, communication and collaboration skills across distributed, cross-functional, and international teams
Nice to Have
Experience building systems within fraud detection, identity verification, fintech, or risk platforms, Full-stack exposure, including frontend technologies such as Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks, Background in security engineering, applied cryptography, privacy-preserving systems, or secure computation
