This role will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for and owning significant platform capabilities, driving architectural decisions, and establishing technical standards that enable our entire engineering organization. You'll work on transformational initiatives including automation, deployment frameworks, and developer workflows that accelerate software delivery across the organization, while mentoring other engineers and ensuring our technology foundation scales with business growth. **We can only consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Charlotte, NC office.** **Key Responsibilities** **Technical Leadership & Platform Strategy** * Define and drive the technical roadmap for Developer Experience and Cloud Platform Engineering initiatives * Establish standards, patterns, and best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, and developer tooling * Lead architecture decisions for cloud-native deployment platforms and internal developer platforms * Shape platform strategy through both written specifications and hands-on code implementation * Drive modernization efforts across GitHub workflows, deployment automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices * Serve as a technical escalation point for complex platform reliability, scalability, and operational issues * Mentor engineers and help raise the overall engineering maturity of th
