8+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience, Proven experience designing, scaling, and operating complex backend systems from early-stage growth through maturity, Deep expertise in distributed systems, APIs, data modeling, infrastructure, and backend architecture patterns, Proficiency with modern AI engineering workflows and tooling, Execution mindset with the ability to balance rapid iteration against long-term reliability and maintainability, Experience building secure, observable, fault-tolerant systems in production environments, Collaborative and pragmatic approach

We’re looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to help define and scale the core systems powering our rapidly growing B2B SaaS platform. This is a deeply technical role focused on building reliable, high-performance infrastructure and backend services, while embracing AI-assisted engineering as a core part of how modern software gets built. You’ll lead the design of critical systems across APIs, distributed services, data architecture, and platform infrastructure. You’ll also help evolve how our engineering organization operates by leveraging AI tooling to accelerate development, improve reliability, automate workflows, and increase engineering velocity at scale.
