The Role and Responsibility Taiwan engineering is a dedicated engineering org for Coupang core business in Taiwan. Coupang started the business in Taiwan from 2022 and the business is growing fast, and we see many opportunities there. The team has end-to-end ownership of Taiwan systems, and we are working with Taiwan business stakeholders, product team very closely to wow the customers and scale the business. We will record another history of Coupang in Taiwan. We develop and maintain scalable and sustainable platforms to empower our business, including but not limited to Search Advertising Platform, Affiliate Platform, Display targeting - Familiar with distributed system architecture, microservice architecture and design, and message queue, cache, database etc core backend knowledge - Growth mindset, company-wide perspective. Focus on business problem solving, and data-driven - Strong competency in delivering results in an environment of rapidly changing requirements with appropriate trade-offs - Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and dive deep - Experience working closely with global distributed teams Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience in eCommerce industry - Experience working in tier-0 systems, distributed systems - Fluent English communication - Experience in advertising systems (such as DSP, RTB, attribution) and alliance systems (such as CPS, CPA, channel management) is a big plus
