What You'll Do.
Executing day‑to‑day and month‑end accounting activities
and monthly journal entries and reconciliations
Supporting month-end close activities
Preparing accruals and supporting schedules
Maintaining documentation and proactively investigating variances
Assisting the management of the Company’s compliance with the lease accounting guidance (ASC 842)
Working on completion of the annual financial statement and other audits
Managing the completion of Governmental census reports
Special projects/ad-hoc support/analysis and other accounting-related duties

The **Staff Accountant** will be responsible for executing day‑to‑day and month‑end accounting activities across the organization, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial schedules. This role works closely with colleagues across Finance and supports the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of the close process. The Staff Accountant will work across a broad range of accounting areas, including sales, inventory, fixed assets, rebates, banking, and benefits, gaining end‑to‑end exposure while operating within established SOPs and internal controls. **What will you do?** * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries and reconciliations * Support month-end close activities * Prepare accruals and supporting schedules in accordance with existing internal controls, SOPs, and US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) * Maintain documentation and proactively investigate variances * Support audits, census reporting, and ad hoc analysis * Collaborate with plant and corporate partners to resolve questions related to sales, inventory, accruals, fixed assets, and close timing * Work cross‑functionally with manufacturing plant and corporate partners to understand business activities, support accurate accounting, and ensure timely and complete month‑end close **Additional Responsibilities Include:** * Assist the management of the Company’s compliance with the lease accounting guidance (ASC 842), including the maintenance of the Company’s lease accounting software * Work on completion of the annual financial statement and other audits * Manage the completion of Governmental census reports * Special projects/ad-hoc support/analys
