Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced **Staff Accountant** with a strong background in healthcare accounting. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in **general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, accrual accounting, and financial reporting** , preferably within the healthcare industry. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and maintain the **general ledger** and ensure accurate financial records. * Perform **balance sheet reconciliations** and resolve discrepancies promptly. * Handle **accrual accounting** and prepare month-end journal entries. * Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. * Prepare financial statements and supporting reports. * Analyze financial data and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. * Support audits and provide required financial documentation. * Collaborate with operations and management teams regarding financial reporting and analysis. **Requirements** -Proven experience as a **Staff Accountant**. \- Strong knowledge of **general ledger, balance sheet reconciliation, and accrual accounting**. -Experience in the **healthcare industry** is strongly preferred, including work with: * Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) * Assisted Living Operators * Home Health Agencies * Healthcare Operators **Benefits** Purely work-from-home Night Shift (EST) Weekly pay
