What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience), Significant experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or production engineering in an aerospace or similarly regulated, high-precision environment, understanding of manufacturing processes (e. g. , machining, special processes, assembly, inspection), Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, Experience with process development, capability studies, and problem solving, Demonstrated experience leading teams or technical projects, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and driving results in a manufacturing environment
Nice to Have
oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills, Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects, Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs, Established project management skills, Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business, Aerospace engine or component manufacturing familiarity with regulated and certified hardware, Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
