Must Have

Extensive experience as an controller SoC Architect or senior designer for high-performance SSD controllers, deep understanding of internal controller architecture, ASIC design, silicon roadmaps, hands-on experience with storage controller SoCs, PCIe, DMA engines, security, NAND interfaces, entire silicon lifecycle from architecture to validation, In-depth knowledge of NAND flash operation, error correction schemes (LDPC), implementation within the controller hardware, Proven ability to drive complex technical issues to resolution across internal and external engineering organizations, Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex silicon design details into actionable requirements for firmware and hardware teams, Background in embedded systems or firmware, sufficient to understand hardware/software interaction during controller bring-up

This role is crucial for the successful integration of cutting-edge SSD flash controller silicon into our DirectFlash™ SSD Modules. You will serve as the technical leader and expert liaison, focusing on the controller's architecture, design trade-offs and validation to ensure seamless integration and high performance on Everpure DFM platforms. WHAT YOU'LL DO Provide deep architectural understanding of SSD flash controller designs, evaluating complex design trade-offs, and validating requirements against the vendor's silicon validation results. Partner with the firmware and hardware teams to establish DirectFlash Module (DFM) design guidelines, identifying early architectural gaps for new controllers. Be the primary technical expert communicating with vendor silicon teams, driving close the technical requirements and alignment between Everpure DFM engineering teams and the SoC vendors.
