What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field, 2–5 years of experience in product validation within the semiconductor industry, Python programming skill for automated lab evaluation, English communication skill to work with global team
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with discrete GaN device characterization and validation, Direct experience using Keysight B1505 device characterization equipment or similar high-power semiconductor characterization tools, Experience extracting datasheet parameters and creating plots, curves, and tables for formal datasheet publication and customer-facing collateral, understanding of power electronics (GaN power stages, gate drivers and motor control), Proven experience in product validation, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level messaging and presentations, Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, cross-functional environment, Business acumen with the ability to balance technical depth and market insight, Familiarity with automotive, industrial, or consumer market technical trends, Self-starter with a proactive mindset and analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
What You'll Do.
Drive the product validation for low voltage discrete GaN FETs
gate drivers portfolio for infrastructure
and automotive applications
Perform discrete GaN device characterization and validation
and reliability parameters across operating conditions
Execute advanced device characterization using Keysight B1505 (or equivalent high-voltage / high-power semiconductor parameter analyzer) for GaN discrete and integrated devices
Capture datasheet parameters and generate characterization data and curves (electrical
etc. ) to support product datasheet release and customer documentation
Correlate device-level characterization results with system- and application-level performance to ensure datasheet accuracy and robustness
Make validation plan based on product spec and track its progress
Build validation board and automated IC characterization program set of the product
Execute Lab evaluation during product development phase
including sophisticated reports to pass the gating reviews
Analyse the correlation of Lab evaluation result and ATE test result
Drill down the root cause of errata or failure of the product during development phase and lead to solve it with circuit designers

Create validation documentation such as product compliance matrix (Lab results summary)
characterization summary
datasheet-ready parameter tables and curves
and customer-requested lab results to support product development
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product definition, applications and design) to appeal customers for Renesas product adoption; Support each other with Test engineer to ensure the correct product validation; lead to solve it with circuit designers, system architect and related department; work with global team
Communication Scope
English communication skill to work with global team; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level messaging and presentations
