What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience in automotive, EV, or HV battery systems as a technician, Associate's degree in a technical field, ASE certification, or equivalent experience, Proficiency in HV battery assembly, electrical diagnostics, CAN communication, and safe handling practices, communication, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills, Ability to work independently, mentor peers, and interface cross-functionally, Proficiency in MS Office Suite and technical reporting tools

High voltage certification strongly preferred

The Senior HV Battery Technician is a hands-on technical expert responsible for the advanced assembly, testing, diagnostics, and field support of high-voltage (HV) battery systems. This role spans prototype build, validation, and field issue resolution, requiring strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead assembly and teardown of HV battery modules and packs, including cell integration, busbar and coolant systems, enclosure sealing, and diagnostic inspection. Support validation and lifecycle tests, operating automation systems, CAN-based tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment. Analyze test data, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide feedback to engineering for design and process improvements.
