Full Job Description
Amazon Selection and Catalog Systems (ASCS) builds and operates the systems behind the world's largest e-commerce product catalog, enabling customers to find, discover, and buy anything they want. The Offers Platform team within ASCS owns the systems that serve product and offering data containing billions of records — the authority for product information, availability, and price — responding to hundreds of billions of requests per day at single-digit millisecond latency. We are hiring a Technical Program Manager to drive programs across two critical pillars: - Offer Projections and Insights — Diagnostic, analytics, and Tier-1 aggregation services that power offer intelligence, detail page widgets (buybox, twister, price ranges), and emerging AI-powered shopping experiences - Catalog Vending — The website-facing and end-customer facing interfaces and precompute systems that project catalog data (items, offer content, relationships, cross-references) to hundreds of downstream consumers powering the Amazon shopping experience Our team has been instrumental in launching high-impact customer features including "Buy For Me" (agentic shopping across external brand sites), "Amazon Haul" (low-price shopping experience), sub-same-day delivery through segmented offers, and regional pricing for diverse global markets. While large-scale, high-throughput, low-latency systems are common at Amazon, these services differentiate themselves as top-traffic serving systems supporting billions of transactions at single-digit millisecond latencies, sourcing data from many upstream systems and executing logic to determine buyability across the entire Amazon catalog. Key job responsibilities - Drive large-scale, cross-functional programs spanning multiple development teams from inception to delivery — defining roadmaps, user stories, and technical solutions for agentic shopping, hyperlocalization, and catalog vending initiatives - Interact with project sponsors, engineering leaders, Princ
