Would you like to build low latency, highly resilient distributed systems at scale? Would you enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment innovating on key areas of the Amazon shopping experience? If so, the Navigation Experiences team is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager that can define and lead the technical features and integration points for customer-facing product initiatives within the Amazon apps and the Amazon.com experience on desktops and other devices. This role is cross-functional and will work collaboratively with engineering, product management, and design teams across Amazon to define, build, and deliver new customer experiences for mobile app customers. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications: - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Proven ability to deal effectively with ambiguity while leading in a high-speed, agile environment - Proven ability to regularly engage with senior stake holders and influence across the organization Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
