Amazon Web Services' Global Connectivity and Network Availability – Delivery (GCNA-D) team is responsible for planning, building, and delivering the physical network infrastructure that powers AWS's global backbone and edge. Our team scales fiber network capacity, optical systems, border and DX deployments, and interconnection infrastructure across regions worldwide. As an AWS GCNA-D Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will define, scope, and manage the delivery of strategic programs from start to finish. Responsibilities include: Collect business and systems requirements from customers across Amazon; Author specifications; Drive project schedules from design to release; and Manage the production launch. You will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal teams and partners to develop optimal solutions. You will be expected to make appropriate trade-offs to optimize release schedules, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and local or remote project teams. Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience leading large, ambiguous projects, and will have a well-rounded technical background in current technologies. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
