ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to drive critical initiatives across Ring org. The right candidate will have both a strong technical background and demonstrated experience in technical management or program/product management. You will partner with engineers, TPMs, Product Managers, and senior leadership to create world-class solutions that delight millions of customers globally. Key job responsibilities - Lead cross-functional program execution, partnering with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver customer-facing features and foundational services - Drive architectural decisions and technical planning for complex, large-scale systems handling massive data sets and ML model serving - Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make tradeoffs balancing customer needs, business requirements, and technical constraints - Break down large, complex projects into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and deliver them successfully and on time - Coordinate and plan across multiple teams, finding technical solutions that span services and applications - Cultivate relationships and earn trust with teams both inside and outside your organization, using diverse unblocking tools and mechanisms - Lead Think Big processes, ensuring the organization looks around corners and plans the right investments - Identify and create mechanisms that raise the bar on quality and speed of delivery Gather high-quality requirements and drive toward optimal architectural outcomes - Track and communicate the path
