We are looking for an innovative Store Designer to join the Store Development Team for Amazon and Whole Foods Market retail stores. This position will be responsible for the implementation and customization of brand design standards. We are an exciting, fast-moving business unit, where everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and work effectively in a highly collaborative environment. You are the right person for this job if you are a creative problem solver with an strong curiosity and drive for learning and a passion for customers. You must demonstrate the ability to efficiently drive multiple projects throughout all phases of design, permitting and construction administration. We are looking for people who want to join an ambitious, innovative and customer obsessed program. In this position you will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams at many levels. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and has a deep passion for innovative retail design. We are looking for someone who is obsessed with creating world-class shopping experiences for our customers. Excellent project management and communication skills, both written and verbal are required. Key job responsibilities • Translating brand design standards and concepts in an innovative yet fiscally responsible way • Completing test fits and feasibility studies for your designs • Working with key internal and external stakeholders in the production of comprehensive design development package and documents as needed to communicate design • Coordinating with construction team on budget considerations and value engineering efforts • Communicating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership • Driving and creating Schematic Design Packages • Reviewing construction documents, shop drawings and landlord documentation • Providing Construction Administrative support as needed A day in the life If you thrive in an ever-changin
