ABOUT THE ROLE At 42dot, we are redefining the vehicle as a living software platform. This transformation requires a world-class physical environment where hardware and software converge. As the Sr. Staff EE Lab Manager, you will be the primary architect and guardian of our Electrical Engineering laboratory. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the lab—from initial build-out and procurement to the implementation of sophisticated automated testing environments. This is a critical role that ensures our engineers have the tools, safety protocols, and high-fidelity testing infrastructure needed to build the future of autonomous mobility. Responsibilities - Lab Architecture & Build-out: Lead the design, stocking, and scaling of a large-scale EE lab. Manage vendor relationships, equipment procurement (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies), and space optimization. - Advanced Rework & Prototyping: Act as the technical expert for complex PCBA modifications, including high-precision BGA reworks, fine-pitch soldering, and prototype assembly. - Safety & Compliance: Establish and enforce rigorous safety standards.
